DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?

Absolutely. I'm based in South London (where West Norwood meets Dulwich) but I love to travel.

CAN WE MEET YOU?

Of course! I live in South London and would love to meet you in person or on Zoom/Teams/Skype.

DO YOU TAKE TRADITIONAL POSED GROUP SHOTS?

Absolutely. I like to keep them short and sweet though so I can concentrate on the documentary photography.

WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU ARE ILL?

It would have to be pretty serious to prevent me from attending! In the event, I have a network of photographers that I can call upon to take my place. There is no extra cost to you if I have to source a replacement.

DO YOU WORK WITH A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

I love working alone as it reduces my profile so I can get more natural photographs, but i f you have a very large wedding (300 or more guests) I can arrange it for you no problem.

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS WILL WE RECEIVE, AND WHEN DO WE GET THEM?

You'll receive a minimum of 400 finished images for my full day coverage, sometimes as many as 500, depending on the light and the weather. I aim to complete the post-production of your photographs and slideshow within 2-3 weeks of your wedding.

HOW LONG DO YOU KEEP OUR IMAGES?

All client images are kept for a minimum of 12 months on our back-up system, and the online gallery also remains online for 24 months, with an option to extend. It is very important that you download and back-up your images as soon as you receive the link to the online gallery. Remember that you should always back files up to multiple locations to be totally safe and avoid heartbreak.

CAN WE POST OUR IMAGES ON SOCIALS?

Absolutely. Low resolution, subtly watermarked, online versions for social media use will be supplied alongside the high-resolution watermark-free versions for printing.

ARE YOU COMPLETELY INSURED?

Completely. I have both third party liability and professional indemnity insurance. I also carry backup camera bodies, lenses and lights.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY?

I started taking pictures professionally whilst working abroad as a reporter for the BBC World Service and The Associated Press. When I came home I wanted to continue with my reportage photography so weddings were the natural thing to do.

HOW MANY WEDDINGS DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH AYEAR?

I photograph around 25 weddings a year, and when I'm not shooting weddings I photograph portraits and commissioned work.

The main constant in my work is people - they're pretty much all I photograph - and I love capturing the way we interact on camera.

HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?

I'll send you out a contract to sign and return and once you've done that and paid a booking fee (part of the total cost, paid up front) the date is yours.

Absolutely, I have a stunning range of beautiful bespoke albums and printing options available on request.
